I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of dear friend’s wedding at the beginning of the month! They had a beautiful wedding and I am so honored that they chose me to be their wedding photographer! I hope you all enjoy a few photos from their special day!

A couple of days ago I mentioned on my fan page how much I loved “batch processing” when editing my sessions. Much to my surprise, there were quite a few fellow photographers who either 1.) didn’t know what I was talking about, or 2.) just didn’t know how to batch process! So this tutorial is for them! No photographer should go without knowing how to batch process! It is a huge time saver!
Please note, this is a tutorial for Photoshop CS versions! I’m not sure if you are able to do this in PSE or not! =)
STEP 1 { Select multiple files that you would like to “batch process”. I normally try to choose photos that are from the same set up and very similar in exposure/color. This will make the process a little easier for you!}
STEP 2 {Select the action that you would like to run! 9/10 times I am running one of my handy dandy actions from the DTP Practical Collection!}
STEP 3 {Go to file->Automate->Batch}
STEP 4 {These are the settings that I prefer to use. You may want to play around with these if you want to close out your photos etc. I have this set up to leave all of my photos open so that I can adjust each action if I need to! Also, I tend to run more than one action on each photo {for example-Lighten up!, Pop it!, and Defog}, so this allows me to do that more easily!}
STEP 5 {Make the adjustments that you would like to make to each photo and then flatten! Make sure you have flattened all of your images before you move on to the next action! }
I hope this quick tutorial has helped everyone learn to batch process! Please leave comments so that I know if this was helpful or not! I would also love suggestions for the NEXT tutorial you would like to see!
Happy Editing!

This weeks vendor feature is Newbie Noggins! Newbie Noggins shares the same owner as a shop you may be a little more familiar with, Twysted Yarn. I just love all the sweet little crochet pieces that Morgan creates and I think you will too! Morgan has also been kind enough to allow me to host a little giveaway from her shop! Up for grabs is this beautiful crown in the winner’s choice of color and size! I have really been adoring these little crowns for quite some time and I know you will love them too!
ENTER USING THE WIDGET BELOW {please be sure to follow ALL rules for entry! I will be checking to make sure the winner has done so. If the winner has not completed all mandatory steps, a new winner will be chosen! All steps except the last one are mandatory!}:
