After 5000 attempts I am so excited about the perfect photo I have captured of my two boys! Only took me literally 17 months! haha! You just have to love the fact that as a photographer I can get great photos of everyone else’s kids all day, but not my own! Ahh, but I finally have something beautiful that I can hang on MY wall and my heart is just melting!

This is going to be a short post, but I thought I would share some of my favorite photos from my husband and I’s “honeymoon we never got/5 year anniversary trip”! We went down to Hilton Head Island, SC {which is where all of these photos came from} and also stopped by Savannah, Ga and Tybee Island , GA! We had a blast! I hope you all enjoy these photos! = )

You may be wondering where I have been this past week! Well let me introduce you to my other love, graphic designing! For those that don’t know, I actually started graphic designing as a hobby before I started photography. I’m so blessed to still be able to incorporate that side of my creativity into my career as well! On the side of my usual photographic duties, I create logos for my fellow photographers as well as other tools for them to use with their products and their editing process {i.e.-tools to use in Photoshop-you all know what that is right? }!

This past week has been FULL of creating fun logos for my fellow photogs and I would love to share some of my new designs with you! I hope you enjoy taking a look into my second artistic world, graphic design!

To all of my clients, NOW you may understand why I seem so busy all the time! I practically run two businesses!

I had a blast working with Kayla and James on this session! Kayla found a cool new place to shoot at and the light was absolutely perfect that day! They kept me laughing the whole time! But the best part, and my absolute most favorite, of this session is the love that you can truly see and feel in their photos! I love nothing more than to capture real emotions! Kayla and James made it easy! I think my slogan comes in perfectly for a session like this:
